The "DRYDAY® Planning
Forecast" system is the culmination of over 30 years of privately funded scientific
research and has a verified accuracy of up to 85% for dry periods over the long term.
The National Weather Service and most other longer range agencies
update their forecasts regularly making them undesirable for planning purposes. This is
because they generally use progression formulas with the current weather conditions. As
the current conditions change, so does the output of their forecast. By the very nature
of this type forecasting, accuracy decreases the further out the forecast goes.
The DRYDAY® forecast system is completely different. It
is based on the exact calculations of forces always acting upon our fluid atmosphere
. These calculations are prepared for a specific date and geographic position to create
a pseudo physical model of the dynamics of the atmosphere. The calculations are exact and
will never change for each specific date and location.
For this reason, DRYDAY® forecasts
are never updated and don’t degrade in potential accuracy, over time, making them much preferred for planning
long-range weather sensitive events
